2012 CLINICAL NUTRITION MANAGEMENT DPG SYMPOSIUM
“Executing Change”
March 24-27, 2012
Symposium Theme Description:
This symposium will offer current strategies to look for opportunities to implement change initiatives. Most leaders acknowledge that change management is a key requirement of their job. Yet simply telling others to “Change!” is an ineffective strategy. In today's fast-paced environment, organizations put a premium on key individuals within the company who can react and move quickly in response to changing conditions and pressures. Change requires transparent communication and to share what is not changing along with what is changing. Change also requires us to act deliberately but swiftly while always communicating the strategic goals to be achieved. Change requires a spark that ignites an individual or a team to do what is necessary to achieve a goal. The most effective leaders are the change agents who know how and when to light the spark that ignites a team to greatness. Ignite your team by executing CHANGE.
