Meet the CNM Chair

Ann Childers, MS, RD, MHA as been active in CNM serving as Area Coordinator, Secretary, and most recently Awards/Scholarship Chair. As Chair, Ann is planning the Spring Symposium which is being held in St. Pete Beach, Florida, March 31 - April 3, 2007.

Ann is the Clinical Nutrition Manager at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC. She and her staff are active in mentoring and training dietetic interns. Ann is on advisory boards for the Winthrop University Dietetic Internship program and the South Carolina DHEC Dietetic Internship program.

She has been Public Relations Chair for the South Carolina Dietetic Association and a member of the Awards/Scholarship Committee. Ann is currently on the Licensure Committee.

Ann sees an exciting future for the practice group with CNMs leading the way in Nutrition Care Process and Nutrition Informatics issues. She believes that CNM offers great member benefits including the Website, EML, Newsletter and Symposium and encourages members to take advantage of the networking opportunities offered by this practice group.
